Professional Saxophonist Joann Kerrigan is available to hire to play for your special event.
Joann has performed extensively throughout the UK as both a Solo and group musician.
She regularly plays solo for private events, parties, birthdays, corporate events, weddings, special anniversaries, Christmas parties, garden parties, special evenings such as wine & cheese evenings, Gin festivals and provides background playing during meals at restaurants etc. She plays a wide range of repertoire including, Soul, Motown, Smooth Pop, Jazz, Swing and general well known easy listening songs to excellent quality backing tracks. Joann comes fully equipped with a good quality PA sound system.
Joann studied music at the University of Salford, Manchester graduating in 2012 and has since been enjoying performing solo. As well as the Saxophone, Joann can also play the Clarinet and Flute and is able to perform similarly on those instruments also. Other work includes regularly playing with a variety of top UK big bands, function bands and Jazz groups, some of which has meant playing and touring abroad. Her most recent tour being to Russia. She has also worked for the BBC performing on a children’s CBBC show The Slammer as a naughty clarinettist. As well as this Joann teaches woodwind to all ages and abilities with many of her students studying and gaining music performance qualifications.
