MAVMAC is a multi-instrumental band consisting of 2 brothers from Towyn; Steve & Lewis McElroy. The lads have been gigging together (in various guises) for over 20 years, with the MAVMAC project launching in late 2013. Having played 1000+ gigs across the UK, Ireland (and even New York) this band have the ‘party-starting formula’ down to a T and guarantee to ignite any venue they perform in! Whether it be holiday parks, clubs, pubs or outdoor festivals, MAVMAC know how to bring the house down!
MAVMAC is a highly energetic, visual act, playing cover songs and mashups across all genres: 50s to 00s, commercial pop, rock, hip-hop to even huge piano ballads. Lewis is a world-class front man, vocalist and drummer, whereas Steve’s talent on piano, guitar, vocals and everything else is untouchable. In 2015 the lads were a main feature on ITV’s The X-Factor, winning over the 15,000-strong crowd and being put through to Bootcamp. 2018 saw the lads returning to play a number of the huge UK Pride festivals and are even supporting 90s legends 5ive at the Ellesmere Port Summer Jam in July.
